Open Repo is a curated library of open-source GitHub repositories: developer tools, AI agents, DevOps, frameworks, self-hosted apps and more. Every repo has its own page with a description, star count, README and related details so you can judge it quickly before using it.

All information (description, stars, forks, language, topics, README, contributors, latest release) comes straight from the GitHub API. Open Repo does not edit authors' READMEs or descriptions.

Each repository is re-synced about once a day. Repos marked Trending refresh more often, roughly every 6 hours, so stars and READMEs stay close to reality. Newly added repos are synced right after they are accepted.

Open Repo checks GitHub's trending pages (daily, weekly and for popular languages) a couple of times a day and labels the repos that appear there as Trending. The label is removed automatically once a repo drops off the lists. Administrators can also flag noteworthy repos by hand.

Send the repo link (for example https://github.com/owner/repo) through the contact details in the footer. We prefer public, actively maintained repos with clear documentation. See the Suggest a repository page for details.

Just contact us at the email in the footer with the repo link and we will remove it as soon as possible. A repo that is deleted or made private on GitHub is also hidden from Open Repo automatically.

Yes. Browsing, searching and reading repo information is free and needs no account. Some spots on the pages show ads to help cover running costs.

That depends on each repo's license, shown in the Repository info panel. Open Repo only showcases repositories and grants no usage rights; read the author's license carefully before using a repo commercially.

Data is refreshed on a schedule, so it can lag GitHub by a few hours (trending repos) up to a day (regular repos). Use View on GitHub on the repo page to see the latest figures.

Use the search box at the top to search by name, description, topic or language. You can also click a topic tag on a repo card (links look like /t/topic-name) or pick a topic in the sidebar to filter, and change the sorting by stars, forks or recent activity.

Open Repo needs no account to browse repos. We only use cookies for preferences such as language and theme, plus basic traffic analytics. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.
